Doherty Finegan Kelly (DFK) provided the full civil and structural Engineering services for the demolition of 2 buildings and the renovation of an existing infirmary and an extension over two floors providing 49 residential units with ensuite facilities, communal kitchens and ancillary accommodation to the buildings concerned. Works involved significant demolition and strengthening to the existing buildings, replacement of existing concrete floor slabs, new lift core, a new multi-storey separation wall within the buildings and all associated site development and boundary wall works, all whilst hospital and adjacent buildings remained fully serviced. Doherty Finegan Kelly was the Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) for this development.
