Doherty Finegan Kelly (DFK) Consulting Engineers was founded in late 2003 by Francis Doherty, Emmet Finegan and Cathal Kelly.  The Company operates two departments, Civil and Structural, with an average of 20 personnel in total. These include a number of Chartered Engineers through the Institute of Structural Engineers and Engineers Ireland and personnel with several other professional memberships.  DFK have expanded considerably since formation keeping pace with an ever increasing workload and meeting the requirements of an impressive list of high performing clients.
The practice now operates from our purpose built office development at Botanic Court, 30-32 Botanic Road, Glasnevin, Dublin 9.  We also have an established regional office located in Drogheda, Co. Louth which is run by one of the directors, Mr. Emmet Finegan.

We enjoy the challenge of providing innovative solutions to the many problems and opportunities which are brought to us and as such, we are continually innovating and challenging the limits in the best interests of our clients and of the environment. 

DFK are registered members of The Association of Consulting Engineers if Ireland (ACEI) with Emmet Finegan & Cathal Kelly successful in becoming ACEI Registered Consulting Engineers.  The practice is also affiliated to a number of professional bodies in the field of Engineering including Engineers Ireland (IEI), The Institute of Structural Engineers (IStructE) and The Steel Construction Institute (SCI).
